Persepolis Grill: Authentic Persian Cuisine in Seattle

I came for a late lunch with my wife. Been a long time since I have eaten Persian food. And I was excited to find a place here in Seattle. We ordered Shirazi Salad-cucumber, onion & tomato in a lemon mint dressing, so refreshing, a roasted eggplant dish (Mirza Gasemi) which came with thin flat bread to dip with and the King’s Choice (grilled marinated chicken breast, Barg-marinated grilled beef & Koobideh-marinated ground beef with onion, sumac & spices). All the food was delicious and made this trip worthwhile. To finish up a fine meal, we both had tea with rose water; it sure helped us digest. Our waiter Pouya T. was great and took care of us with fantastic service. If you are ever around in the University District here in Seattle, Washington, and crave authentic Persian food, give this place a try; you won’t be disappointed.

Love persian food. Had the chicken kabob. It was just a tad chewy but delicious. Go with others that are willing to order a few different items and share. Wish they would bring back the salmon dish with polo.

Excellent Persian food! The staff is super friendly and nice, and the food (fesenjān, saffron ice cream) was amazing! The portion sizes are pretty large- we had two and managed to get full off of one order

The food was in very hight quality and super fresh and delicious I can even say that I tried the best kebab koobideh in Washington. The tahdig was so crispy good also

I had an amazing experience at Persepolis Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. A special thank you to the restaurant manager—so generous, kind, and truly hospitable. Their warm attitude and great service made us feel valued and appreciated. I highly recommend Persepolis Restaurant to anyone looking for high-quality food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Seattle! I literally drive from Tacoma just to eat here — it’s that good. The food is always incredibly juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite. I actually catered my wedding from here three years ago, and it was a huge hit with all our guests — everyone loved it. Customer service is amazing — the staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I will definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in Seattle. Highly recommended!

Great Persian food in the U District! Enjoyed the smoked eggplant dip with flat bread. Also ordered the Ghormeh Sabzi which was delicious. Food was tasty and plentiful. Atmosphere was casual and quiet. I will definitely go back. Price was reasonable considering current economic conditions.

Had a great time! Service was great, the server is Baha’i which is lovely to know there are community members here. Love the support for halal food. The food did not stall at all and it was delicious, flavorful and had good portions. Hadn’t had Persian food in so long so was very excited to eat the Mizra Ghassemi, Ghormeh Sabzi, Tahdig and chicken kebab. Will def have this in our rotation and we hope you too as we need to support local business that add to our social and culinary community :)
